Dell’s Alienware, the gaming community’s favorite, announces the launch of three new gaming laptops
Dell. Inc.'s (NASDAQ:DELL) Alienware has announced the launch of three new gaming laptops. Gaming-specific laptops have been around for a long time and stand out from the crowd due to their game-specific nature and marketing appeal.
The three new laptops are going to feature cutting- edge technology and will include Intel Corp’s (NASDAQ:INTL) 5th generation Intel CPUs, Microsoft Corporation’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows 10 and Nvidia Corporation's (NASDAQ:NVDA) 900 series graphics.
This goes to show that the Alienware is not going to be a slouch in the graphics department. The Alienware 13, 15 and 17 will bring a product which will give its rivals a run for their money. Dell will offer about 20 modifications from previous generations and that is something which will make competitors worried. Alienware is a gamers' favorite when it comes to gaming laptops and much of this may have to do with its pleasing aesthetics, design and marketing, rather than actual performance.
The Alienware 13 starts at around $ 999, with an option to include a core i7 processor. For an extra $1200, you can also include the Alien external Graphic Amplifier, which is essentially an external graphic card. The 13 inch laptop also includes Nvidia GTX 960 M graphics.
The 15 inch version starts at around $1,199 and can reach up to $2, 499. It includes GTX 980 M, and as always, you can update the graphic amplifier with a GTX Titan X for $1200. The standout feature is and always will be the external Graphic Amplifier. Although pricey, but well worth the money, it will allow you to run games smoothly even with the most challenging specs.
The Alienware has been the gaming community's favorite for a while now, and the latest offerings will continue to assert the brands dominance in the market.
